Job summary

Integrated Communication Network in the United Arab Emirates invites applications for an ICT Networking Engineer (2 positions). The role covers design, supervision of implementation and commissioning of IT active equipment (Cisco/HP) and creating system specifications, site reports, budgets and BOMs.

You will work with project teams to ensure smooth delivery. Candidates should hold an Engineering degree and have 2–3 years UAE experience, CCNA (CCNP preferred), and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (reading/writing/speaking)
• Ability to create and review IT/communications drawings and schematics

Responsibilities

• Design, supervision of implementation & commissioning of IT active equipment (Cisco/HP)
• Create system specifications, site reports, budgets and BOMs
• Review design drawings for IT/communications systems
• Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers and technicians
• Prepare variation orders and claim documentation
• Lead and communicate effectively under pressure

Should have experience in design, Supervision of implementation & commissioning of IT Active equipment such as Cisco/HP etc

Must have experience in Project design and engineering Creating and refining concept, schematic, design development, installation, and maintenance documents. - Creating system specifications, site reports, project budgets, bills of materials and bid documentation.

Work alongside Project Managers engineers and technicians to ensure the smooth delivery of projects

Should have in-depth knowledge of ICT systems design, installation and configurations..

Must be a CCNA

Must have experience in creating drawings and schematics on AutoCAD

The candidate must be forward thinker and ready to adapt to new technology with a hunger to know more.

Should be able to correspond with Consulting Engineer and prepare Variation order claim documentation.

Possess effective leadership, organization & communication skills. Ability to Handle multiple tasks & work under pressure

Must possess an Engineering Degree from a Government recognized University College/Engineering Institute.

Must be familiar with topologies & technologies of LAN, WAN, WLAN, etc.

02 to 03 year minimum on a similar job role is a MUST.

The applicant must be fluent in Writing/Reading/Speaking English.

Responsible for the design review of the IT services.

Review design drawings for IT/ Communications Systems.
