Job summary

UConnect Systems is seeking a Network Engineer to lead enterprise networking and security projects across the UAE. You will design, implement, secure, and support LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, and multi-vendor networks, with ownership from design to deployment and handover.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands‑on experience, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to manage multiple projects and customer engagements across the UAE. UAE driving licence and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on enterprise networking experience.
• Strong experience with Routing and Switching technologies.
• Experience configuring and supporting Cisco, Aruba, Ruckus, Huawei, Juniper, Extreme Networks or similar platforms.
• Hands-on expertise in enterprise wireless networking and Wi‑Fi deployments.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols and troubleshooting.
• Experience deploying firewall and network security solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet/FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco Security or SonicWall.
• Experience using network monitoring and diagnostic tools and customer-facing roles.

UConnect Systems is seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join its growing technical team and lead the delivery of enterprise networking and security projects across the UAE. Detailed Job Description

As a Network Engineer at UConnect Systems, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructures for a diverse customer base. You will work across multi-vendor networking and security environments, delivering robust LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and network security solutions. The successful candidate will manage projects throughout their lifecycle, provide high-level technical support, and serve as a key escalation point for complex issues. This role requires strong customer-facing skills, technical leadership, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will also collaborate closely with sales and pre-sales teams to develop innovative solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete network project lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, commissioning, documentation, and handover.
• Design, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructures.
• Deploy and support Routing and Switching solutions across multi-vendor environments.
• Implement and maintain enterprise Wi-Fi, LAN, and WAN connectivity solutions.
• Design and administer network security solutions using Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, SonicWall, and related technologies.
• Monitor network performance and availability using Network Management Systems (NMS) and monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues utilizing tools such as Wireshark and advanced diagnostic platforms.
• Plan and oversee structured cabling projects involving copper and fiber infrastructure.
• Manage assigned AMC customer accounts and ensure SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical network incidents and infrastructure challenges.
• Support customer sites and independently resolve technical support requests.
• Produce network documentation, health reports, project updates, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to develop technical proposals, BOQs, and solution designs.
• Research emerging networking and cybersecurity technologies and recommend best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Aruba Certified Professional, NSE, PCNSA, or JNCIA.
• Experience with SD-WAN solutions and cloud networking technologies.
