Job summary

Accor in Ras Al-Khaimah is seeking a detail-oriented Hygiene & Stewarding Manager to oversee all hygiene, sanitation and stewarding operations across the property. You will lead a stewarding team, implement protocols, and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will conduct inspections, manage inventory and training, ensure adherence to health codes, and coordinate with other departments to resolve hygiene-related issues while maintaining guest safety and operational

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Hygiene/Stewarding Manager in hospitality or facilities.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and health codes.
• Ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
• Excellent organization, time management and record-keeping.
• Experience with HACCP or similar systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the stewarding team, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive hygiene and sanitation protocols and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials; manage procurement and budgeting.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, health codes, and organizational policies.
• Train staff on proper hygiene practices, food handling procedures, and use of cleaning equipment.
• Maintain detailed documentation and records of sanitation activities, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to address hygiene-related concerns and incidents.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed.
• Conduct audits and quality assurance checks to verify compliance with established standards.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding operational updates and challenges.
