Job summary

AccorHotels Middle East is seeking a detail-oriented Hygiene & Stewarding Manager to oversee hygiene, sanitation, and stewarding operations in Ras Al-Khaimah. Lead a stewarding team, implement protocols, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, hygienic environment across facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Hygiene Manager, Stewarding Manager, or similar supervisory role in hospitality, food service, or facilities management
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, health codes, and sanitation best practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to quality and compliance

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the stewarding team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive hygiene and sanitation protocols and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials; manage procurement and budgeting
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, health codes, and organizational policies
• Train staff on proper hygiene practices, food handling procedures, and use of cleaning equipment
• Maintain detailed documentation and records of sanitation activities, inspections, and corrective actions
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with management and other departments to address hygiene-related concerns and incidents
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed
• Conduct audits and quality assurance checks to verify compliance with established standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding operational updates and challenges
