Job summary

EMAC Electromechanical Engineering Company is seeking an experienced Site Engineer for HVAC in Dubai. You will supervise HVAC installations, coordinate with project teams, and ensure field activities meet schedules and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of HVAC Site Engineer experience in MEP contracting for buildings.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs and shop drawings.
• Experience with TAB/Testing & Balancing, T&C, and authority inspections is preferred.
• Knowledge of VRF/VRV, AHUs, FCUs, ductwork, and chilled water systems; UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC installation activities including ductwork, piping, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems.
• Review shop drawings, specifications and method statements before execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors and other trades.
• Monitor progress, ensure work aligns with schedules and quality standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports and support handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, local authority requirements, and HSE.
• Conduct inspections and supervise testing, balancing and commissioning.

We re looking for an experienced Site Engineer HVAC to join our growing MEP Contracting team and contribute to the successful delivery of building construction projects If you have hands-on experience managing HVAC installations and coordinating site activities we d love to hear from you

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of HVAC systems including ductwork chilled water piping ventilation systems AHUs FCUs and VRF VRV systems
• Review shop drawings specifications and method statements before execution
• Coordinate with project managers consultants subcontractors and other MEP trades to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed in accordance with project schedules and quality standards
• Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability of approved HVAC materials and equipment
• Conduct inspections and supervise testing balancing and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with project specifications local authority requirements quality standards and HSE regulations
• Prepare daily progress reports and support project handover documentation
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 5 years of experience as an HVAC Site Engineer in MEP contracting for building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled water, VRF/VRV, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, and ductwork installation.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and coordinated shop drawings.
• Experience with testing, adjusting and balancing (TAB), testing & commissioning (T&C), and authority inspections.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• GCC/UAE experience is highly preferred.
