Job summary

Brainstorm Headhunting Specialist is seeking a Project Engineer – HVAC with strong hotel and hospitality project experience. You will manage HVAC execution from site installation through commissioning and handover, coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors and other MEP disciplines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and TAB, and will oversee progress, quality and HSE compliance on hotel projects in the UAE/GCC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5–8 years HVAC/MEP project execution experience.
• Hotel/Hospitality project experience is mandatory.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise HVAC installation and project execution activities for hotel and hospitality projects.
• Coordinate HVAC works with electrical, plumbing, fire‑fighting, architectural, and interior fit‑out teams.
• Review and coordinate HVAC shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Supervise installation of chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, ducting, ventilation, and chilled water piping.
• Coordinate installation of pumps, valves, and associated HVAC equipment.
• Monitor HVAC works against project schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Identify technical and site issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Prepare progress updates and maintain project documentation.

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – HVAC with strong experience in hotel and hospitality projects. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in HVAC project execution, site installation, coordination, testing, commissioning, and handover.Hotel / Hospitality project experience is mandatory. The candidate should be capable of managing HVAC works from site execution through commissioning and handover while coordinating effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other MEP disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise HVAC installation and project execution activities for hotel and hospitality projects.
• Coordinate HVAC works with electrical, plumbing, fire‑fighting, architectural, and interior fit‑out teams.
• Review and coordinate HVAC shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and inspection requests.

• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor HVAC works against project schedules and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure HVAC installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
• Identify technical and site issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Monitor site progress, manpower, materials, and installation activities.
• Coordinate HVAC testing, commissioning, Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB), and project handover.
• Prepare progress updates and maintain project documentation.
• Support snagging, testing, commissioning, and final project closeout.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of HVAC / MEP project execution experience.
• Hotel / Hospitality project experience is mandatory.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
• Experience working with an MEP contractor or main contractor is preferred.

• Experience handling consultant, client, and subcontractor coordination.
• Experience in HVAC testing, commissioning, TAB, and project handover.
• Ability to manage HVAC works according to project schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
