Job summary

GINCO Cont. Co. LLC seeks a seasoned Mechanical Engineer to lead site installation oversight for HVAC systems, ductwork fabrication, and piping networks on high-rise, luxury projects in the UAE. You will supervise and certify testing, balancing, and commissioning activities to meet design criteria.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with MOFA attestation and 9+ years UAE MEP contracting experience, including ASHRAE/SMACNA proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation oversight for central chillers, cooling towers, primary and secondary pumps, AHUs, FCUs and ducted split units.
• Oversee duct fabrication, installation, insulation, acoustic lining and chilled water piping networks.
• Witness hydrostatic pressure tests for chilled water piping and duct leakage testing per SMACNA DW144.
• Coordinate with independent TAB specialists to balance air and water flow against design CFM and GPM allowances.

Job description

Lead the engineering site installation ductwork fabrication oversight chilled water piping testing balancing and commissioning of all HVAC and ventilation systems.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• HVAC Installation Oversight - Direct the installation of central chillers, cooling towers, primary and secondary pumps, AHUs, FCUs and ducted split units.
• Ductwork Piping Quality - Oversee duct fabrication, installation, insulation, acoustic lining and chilled water piping networks.
• Pressure Leakage Testing - Witness and certify hydrostatic pressure tests for chilled water piping and duct leakage testing per SMACNA DW144.
• Testing Adjusting Balancing TAB - Coordinate with independent TAB specialists to balance air and water flow rates against design CFM and GPM allowances.

Educational & Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (attested with MOFA).
• 9+ years experience; ASHRAE / SMACNA expertise.

Required Industry & Project Background

• 9-13 years in UAE MEP contracting managing HVAC systems on high-rise buildings, luxury gated communities, or villas.
