Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an HR Executive / HR Specialist for its Dubai-based pharmacy retail network to manage licensing, recruitment, onboarding, and regulatory compliance.

The role covers end-to-end license renewals (DHA, MOHAP, DOH/HAAD), store-level facility licenses, audits, payroll inputs, and vendor records, with a focus on regulatory readiness.

A Bachelor’s in HR or related field and 2+ years in healthcare or multi-site retail HR are preferred.

Qualifications

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Professional with at least 2 years of HR experience to handle employee relations, recruitment, and regulatory license renewals across our retail pharmacy network. The ideal candidate will bridge standard HR operations with statutory healthcare compliance—ensuring that all store-level pharmacists and retail outlets remain fully licensed, compliant, and operationally ready.

Key Responsibilities

1. Professional Licensing & Compliance Management (Core Focus)
   • Pharmacist License Renewals: End-to-end tracking, management, and timely renewal of individual professional health authority licenses (e.g., DHA, MOHAP, DOH/HAAD, or state boards) for all Registered and Assistant Pharmacists.
   • Pharmacy Facility Licenses: Assist in tracking and coordinating store-level commercial and healthcare facility license renewals to prevent operational downtime.
   • Compliance Audits: Maintain a real-time compliance tracker for license expiration dates, mal-practice insurance, and medical fitness certificates.
2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
   • Healthcare Recruitment: Source, screen, and recruit candidates for roles including Registered Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Store Managers, and Sales Assistants.
   • Pre-Hire Verification: Ensure new hires possess active eligibility or valid transferrable licenses before issuing formal employment offers.
   • Onboarding & Induction: Conduct onboarding programs covering retail SOPs, customer service standards, labor laws, and regulatory guidelines.
3. HR Operations & Shift Coordination
   • Roster & Attendance Management: Partner with Area Managers to monitor shift schedules, leave requests, attendance, and overtime across multiple store locations.
   • Personnel Records: Maintain updated digital and physical employee files containing contracts, visa documents, professional licenses, and certifications.
   • Payroll Processing: Provide monthly payroll inputs, incorporating attendance data, shift differentials, sales incentives, and regulatory deductions.
4. Employee Relations & Training
   • Store Visits & Support: Regularly visit pharmacy locations to connect with staff, gather feedback, and resolve employee grievances promptly.
   • Training Coordination: Organize required mandatory training sessions, including health authority updates, customer service quality, and product safety workshops.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven HR experience, with hands-on experience handling health authority portals and license renewal procedures.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Sound working knowledge of health authority licensing regulations (DHA/MOH/DOH or local state councils) and regional labor laws.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems, document management software, advanced MS Excel (for tracker maintenance), and authority web portals.
