Role Context

This position supports the safe and efficient delivery of community pharmacy services while helping customers make informed decisions about prescribed medicines and appropriate healthcare products. The Pharmacist is responsible for maintaining dispensing accuracy, regulatory compliance and reliable stock availability while contributing to the commercial performance of the pharmacy through knowledgeable customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, completeness and suitability before dispensing prescribed medicines.
  • Compound, prepare and dispense medications in accordance with physician instructions and applicable pharmacy regulations.
  • Explain dosage, administration, storage requirements, possible side effects and relevant drug interactions clearly to customers.
  • Assess customer requirements through appropriate questioning and provide professional assistance within the pharmacist 's permitted scope of practice.
  • Maintain compliance with Dubai Health Authority, Ministry of Health and other applicable regulatory requirements covering preparation, labeling, dispensing and pharmaceutical records.
  • Process insurance transactions efficiently and coordinate with insurance providers to resolve approvals, billing discrepancies and related issues.
  • Manage pharmaceutical and medical supply ordering while maintaining appropriate stock levels and storage conditions.
  • Monitor medicine expiry dates, stock rotation and inventory accuracy to minimize losses and maintain product availability.
  • Support merchandising and the daily operational requirements of the pharmacy.
  • Apply responsible up-selling and cross-selling techniques across relevant Super Care product categories while keeping customer needs central to recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records and prepare documentation required for regulatory inspection or reporting.
  • Work across assigned shifts and pharmacy locations when required to maintain operational coverage.
Ideal Profile

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor 's Degree in Pharmacy and possess a valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter. Applicants should bring 1-2 years of registered pharmacist experience in the UAE, with practical exposure to prescription dispensing, customer counselling and day-to-day retail pharmacy operations. A strong understanding of medication safety, pharmaceutical regulations and inventory practices is important. The role also requires confidence when communicating with customers, physicians, insurers and colleagues. Strong spoken and written English communication skills are required.
