Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking an HSE Engineer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. The role requires at least 3-5 years of HSE experience, with a focus on the oil and gas industry. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have strong communication and management skills. This position offers an excellent salary package, accommodation, and benefits during the rotational contract period.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of HSE experience in any industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in managing and implementing HSE aspects in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Relevant experience in 3 major EPC projects in oil & gas or petrochemical sector.
• NEBOSH GC/IGC certificate is an advantage.
• ADNOC approval will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all field activities comply with TCMHSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct HSE orientation and awareness sessions.
• Implement and understand the HSE Plan.
• Participate in risk assessments.
• Conduct HSE inspections.
• Implement emergency response plans/procedures.

Overview

Contractual. Start on as soon as possible (ASAP).

Duration: 17 months (Extendable)

Hours/rotation: Rotation of 60 days on site and 10 days off (paid) & 2 days traveling (paid).

Salary range: Excellent salary package with benefits. Single Status. Accommodation (Meals) provided by the company. Transportation provided by the company. Round trip ticket on each rotation (Economy class).

Duties and responsibilities

• Verifies and ensures that all field activities are performed according to the TCMHSE policy, the regulations, standards and procedures, promoting all preventive and corrective action as required.

• Ability to conduct HSE orientation / induction / HSE awareness sessions to workers
• Understanding and implementation of the HSE Plan.
• Knowledge and experience in implementing PTW system and Gas Testing.
• Awareness on Ammonia & Breathing Apparatus.
• Ability to understand and participate in Risk Assessments.
• Ability to conduct HSE inspections.
• Ability to understand and implement Emergency response plans / procedures.
