Job summary

Nova International General Contracting L.L.C is seeking a seasoned HSE professional to lead project health, safety and environment in UAE construction, overseeing the HSE Plan, reviews, inspections and contractor compliance on high-risk sites.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, NEBOSH IGC, 7+ years UAE construction experience, and a proven track record with high-rise projects in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, including MSRA/JSAs and PTW management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of HSE experience in UAE construction.
• Experience in high-rise/multi-storey building construction projects in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
• Candidates based in the UAE preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi HSE requirements and ADOSH-SF.
• Experience with MSRA/JSAs, PTW, and reviewing risk assessments.

• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi HSE requirements / ADOSH-SF.
• Strong technical knowledge of work at height, scaffolding, lifting operations, tower cranes/hoisting, temporary works, formwork, concrete works, MEP activities and construction logistics.
• Good experience in reviewing Method Statements, Risk Assessments, JSA and Permit-to-Work requirements.
• Experience in incident investigation, HSE inspections/audits, subcontractor monitoring and corrective-action follow-up.
• Strong communication, reporting and coordination skills.
