Job summary

Quality Equipment Rental LLC seeks an HSE Officer to implement and monitor health, safety, and environmental policies at sites in the UAE. The role supports the HSE team in maintaining a safe, compliant work environment aligned with UAE laws and company standards.

The ideal candidate will conduct inspections, perform risk assessments, coordinate with contractors, and lead toolbox talks, while ensuring PPE use and incident reporting. A relevant degree and 3–5 years of HSE experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily site inspections to identify hazards and unsafe acts.
• Enforce HSE policies and regulations on-site.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions.
• Record and report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; assist investigations.
• Ensure proper use of PPE by workers on site.
• Prepare and maintain HSE documentation such as risk assessments and permits to work.
• Monitor compliance with signage, housekeeping and emergency equipment standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and workers to promote safety awareness.
• Stay updated on changes in laws, standards, and practices.
• Support emergency drills and first aid coordination as required.
• Arrange third-party inspections and verify summaries for purchase orders.
• Register equipment and vehicle documents and arrange site passings
• Prepare Workmen's Compensation claims and insurance settlements
• Conduct monthly vehicle inspection checklists for company vehicles
• Induct site visitors before entry.
