Job summary

Salayel Hospitality is seeking an HSE Lead responsible for enhancing Health, Safety, and Environmental performance across properties. The role includes ensuring compliance with UAE legislation and standards while demonstrating strong leadership in site governance and operational risk control.

The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree, possess over 8 years of HSE experience in the UAE, and be proficient in ISO management systems. This role offers an opportunity to influence safety culture and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 8 years HSE experience in UAE facilities management, property management, hospitality, or similar operations.
• Experience with contractor safety management and live operational environments.
• Strong background in incident investigation, PTW systems, audits, and inspections.
• Experience implementing ISO-aligned HSE management systems.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain company HSE policies, procedures, and programs at site level.
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Deliver HSE inductions and awareness training.
• Supervise site HSE personnel and prepare HSE reports.

Skills

UAE HSE regulations and ADOSH‑SF framework

Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills

Proficiency in MS Office and digital HSE systems

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field

ISO 45001 Lead/Internal Auditor certification

ISO 14001 certification

ADOSH registration (or equivalent)

Incident investigation training (ICAM or similar)
