Job summary

Edge Group in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced HSE professional to oversee safety and environmental management systems across our facilities. The role includes incident trend analysis, risk assessment training, and ensuring regulatory compliance within UAE guidelines.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in HSE, strong English communication, and the ability to work independently. A UAE driving license is preferred to support site visits and audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in an HSE role.
• Exposure to a technical program related to Industrial safety is preferred.
• Ability to monitor and analyse HSE trends.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software and email correspondence.
• Ability to learn governmental HSE regulations and apply them in the workplace.
• Ability to interact with management and staff to discuss deficiencies.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Experience in developing HSE training materials and delivering presentations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety and environmental management systems across workshops, warehouses, and offices.
• Reviews inspection data to identify trends in noncompliance and tracks findings to closure.
• Advises management on integrating HSE protocols into workflows.
• Manages the Risk Register within the Risk Framework.
• Develops and oversees HSE training programs and assessments.
• Prepares performance reports and strategic recommendations for leadership.
• Oversees internal HSE training curriculum, scheduling, and records.
• Ensures waste management documentation complies with UAE regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality and security of HSE records.
• Provides mentorship to the HSE team and supports departmental objectives.
• Performs other duties as required by line/department managers.
