Job summary

Melia Hotels International in Dubai is seeking an HR & Training Executive to lead recruitment, learning and development, employee activities and HR reporting. As the department’s second-in-command, you will work closely with the HR Manager to support daily HR operations, help our colleagues grow and create a positive workplace experience.

We are looking for 2+ years HR experience, with strong focus on recruitment and L&D, knowledge of UAE Labour Law and MOHRE, plus fluent English.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HR experience with recruitment and learning & development focus
• Experience delivering training and coordinating employee engagement activities
• Sound knowledge of UAE Labour Law, MOHRE processes, visa and onboarding requirements
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across a diverse team
• Strong organisational, analytical and reporting skills with Excel and HR systems

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and pre-employment checks
• Partner with Heads of Department to meet staffing needs within headcount and budgets
• Coordinate pre-arrival arrangements and onboarding for new colleagues
• Identify training needs and plan, coordinate and deliver annual training calendar
• Deliver induction programmes and coordinate mandatory training and tracking
