Job summary

Melia Hotels International S.A.(Meliá) in Dubai is seeking an HR professional to lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and annual training planning. You will coordinate with department heads to meet staffing needs and build strong talent pipelines across the luxury hospitality group.

The role requires 2+ years in HR, with strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and MOHRE processes, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Experience delivering training and coordinating employee engagement activities.
• Knowledge of UAE Labour Law and MOHRE processes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and HR/Learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers and pre-employment checks, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Partner with Heads of Department to meet staffing needs within approved headcount and budgets, building talent pipelines.
• Coordinate pre-arrival arrangements and onboarding for new colleagues.
• Identify training needs and plan, coordinate and deliver the annual training calendar.
• Deliver induction programmes and coordinate mandatory training, tracking participation and effectiveness.
• Support cross-training, career development and internal promotion opportunities.
• Organise employee activities, recognition programmes and wellbeing initiatives, and support engagement plans.
• Prepare monthly HR reports covering headcount, recruitment, turnover, training and activities with trends and recommendations.
• Support daily HR operations and escalate sensitive issues when needed.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure UAE Labour Law compliance.
