Job summary

Prakash Trading Company (PTC) is seeking an experienced HR Specialist in Dubai to manage recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, HR policies, and employee relations. You will maintain records, support payroll coordination and ensure UAE compliance, while fostering a positive work environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, at least 3 years of UAE experience, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as HR Specialist or similar role in UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in HRMS software and MS Office applications.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and UAE labor regulations.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, candidate screening, and interviews.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration.
• Manage exit formalities, exit interviews and the complete offboarding process.
• Maintain and update employee records in compliance with company policies and UAE labor laws, within the HRMS system.
• Organize and manage employee engagement initiatives and activities, and foster a positive work environment.
• Develop and update employee handbooks and related HR documentation.
• Provide guidance to employees and management on HR-related queries and issues.
• Support management in addressing employee-related issues fairly and consistently.
• Support the development of performance objectives, KPIs and appraisal processes.
• Collaborate with payroll and benefits administration to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR organizational processes and frequently report to management.
