Job summary

IOTA Group in the UAE seeks a senior HR governance professional to review and streamline HR policies, ensure labour-law compliance, and drive governance across compensation and expatriate mobility. You will lead processes that standardize offers, promotions, and career progression while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a multinational setting.

You will design salary frameworks, govern job grading, and support mobility programs to balance equity and competitiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of HR experience including policies, job evaluation, and expatriate mobility.
  • Experience with expatriate and international mobility management is preferred.
  • Strong employee relations, HR operations, and process-improvement expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Review, update, and streamline HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, internal standards, and HR best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes and employee experience.
  • Develop governance frameworks and HR operating procedures to ensure consistency and transparency.
  • Develop salary range frameworks aligned with job grades and compensation principles.
  • Analyze internal and external compensation data and recommend salary positioning.
  • Design and maintain compensation tools, salary bands, and decision matrices.
  • Develop HR governance principles and supporting documentation.
  • Partner with HR, management, and HQ to align local practices with corporate policies.
  • Review and enhance expatriate management policies and processes.
  • Support mobility and assignment-related activities including onboarding and relocation.

Job Description
  • Review, update, and streamline HR policies, procedures, guidelines, and HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, internal standards, and HR best practices
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and improve HR processes and employee experience
  • Develop governance frameworks and HR operating procedures to ensure consistency and transparency
Compensation Governance, Salary Frameworks & Career Progression:
  • Develop and implement a structured salary range framework aligned with existing job grades and corporate compensation principles
  • Establish guidelines and governance mechanisms to support consistent recruitment offers, salary positioning, promotion decisions and career progression pathways
  • Analyze internal and external compensation data and recommend salary positioning frameworks that ensure competitiveness and internal equity
  • Design and maintain compensation tools, salary bands, and decision matrices to support HR and management decision-making
  • Develop HR governance principles and supporting documentation to standardize compensation-related decisions
  • Partner with HR, management, and HQ stakeholders to ensure local practices remain aligned with corporate job grading and compensation policies
  • Review and enhance expatriate management policies and processes
  • Support mobility and assignment-related activities, including onboarding, relocation, allowances, benefits, repatriation, and policy administration
  • Ensure a consistent and employee-focused approach to expatriate lifecycle management.
  • Recommend improvements to expatriate programs based on best practices and business needs
Employee Relations & HR Operations:
  • Act as a HR focal point for employees and managers.
  • Support employee relations matters by providing guidance, policies, and practical HR solutions
  • Handle employee inquiries and contribute to the resolution of workplace issues in a fair and professional manner
  • Promote a positive employee experience through responsive and customer-focused HR services
  • Support HR operations and continuous improvement initiatives across the employee lifecycle
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement:
  • Participate in HR transformation and organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Analyze HR processes and recommend efficiency improvements
  • Prepare reports, presentations, policies, and HR documentation as required
  • Support change management and communication efforts related to HR initiatives
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Hands-on experience in:
    • HR policies and procedures review and implementation
    • Job evaluation, job grading, and organizational design
    • Promotion frameworks and compensation governance
    • Expatriate and international mobility management
    • Employee relations and HR operations
    • HR process improvement and HR methods
  • Experience working in an international and multicultural environment is highly desirable
  • Consulting or HR transformation experience would be an advantage
  • Strong HR methods and organizational development expertise
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a strong focus on employee experience
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Project management and change management capabilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented, and hands-on approach
