Job summary

The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a proactive HR Officer to support our HR team in delivering high-quality services.

This 6-month contract offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with leadership, handle recruitment, onboarding, and ensure compliance with UAE employment law, while contributing to HR policy and documentation. The role requires attention to detail, discretion, and strong communication in a fast-paced school environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job advertising, candidate communication, interviews, and offers
• Oversee the onboarding process including reference checks, document collection, and work permit coordination
• Support employee induction for new staff
• Ensure compliance with ADEK and internal policies
• Assist with HR policy development, HRIS management, and HR documentation
• Build effective working relationships with staff and stakeholders

HR Officer

The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Officer to support our dynamic HR team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day delivery of high-quality HR services at a leading international school.

The initial contract for this role will be for 6 months, with the potential for extension.
