Job summary

Shangri-La Group in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator (Emiratisation Program) to support the daily administrative and operational coordination of the Housekeeping Department.

You will help with scheduling, reporting, inductions, and interdepartment communications, with a view to building a long-term career in hospitality within Shangri-La's Emirati development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of housekeeping operations or strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating daily room status updates, task assignments, and communication between Housekeeping and Front Office.
• Maintaining accurate records for schedules, attendance, training, and departmental documentation.
• Supporting induction processes for new housekeeping colleagues.
• Preparing reports, trackers, and internal correspondence for housekeeping department.
• Assisting with audits, quality inspections, and departmental projects.
