Job summary

Melia Hotels International in Dubai is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead a luxury team and uphold the brand’s exacting standards of cleanliness across all rooms and public areas.

You will plan schedules, manning and deep-cleaning programs, manage inventories, handle guest requests, and collaborate with Front Office and Engineering to keep operations smooth while controlling costs and maintaining outstanding guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Assistant Manager in a 5-star hotel.
• Strong coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a passion for luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead train and motivate the Housekeeping team to deliver luxury standards
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in all rooms and public areas
• Plan schedules manning and deep-cleaning programs for a smooth operation
• Manage inventories of linen cleaning equipment guest supplies and minibar
• Handle guest requests and complaints and make sure guest preferences are met
• Coordinate daily with Front Office and Engineering on preventive maintenance and snag lists
• Control departmental costs and track productivity without compromising on quality
