Job summary

AccorHotels Middle East is seeking a skilled Tailor to join our hotel operations. You will perform alterations and repairs on staff uniforms and linen, ensuring a neat, presentable appearance in line with our service standards.

You will measure, tailor, and adjust garments, operate industrial sewing machines, and coordinate with the Uniform Room Attendant and Laundry team to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school certificate or vocational training in tailoring or garment construction.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tailor in hotel or uniform room preferred.
• Good knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and fabric types.
• Experience operating industrial and domestic sewing machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform sewing, stitching, alterations, and repairs of hotel employees' uniforms.
• Carry out hemming, resizing, button replacement, zipper replacement, patching, and other garment repairs.
• Attend to guest garment alteration and repair requests in accordance with hotel service standards.
• Ensure uniforms are properly fitted, neat, clean, and presentable before being issued to employees.
• Inspect garments and linen for damage, defects, stains, and wear before carrying out repairs.
• Repair and maintain hotel linen, including bed sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, tablecloths, napkins, and other textile items.
