Job summary

Accor is seeking a skilled tailor to sew, alter, and repair hotel employees’ uniforms, ensuring a professional and presentable appearance. You will also handle guest requests and maintain accurate records within the uniform room and laundry workflow.

The role requires hands-on experience with garment construction and sewing machines, with an emphasis on efficiency and adherence to hotel service standards.

Qualifications

• High school certificate or vocational training in tailoring or garment construction.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a tailor, preferably in a hotel laundry or uniform room.
• Good knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, and fabric types.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines.
• Previous experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform sewing, alterations, and repairs of hotel employees' uniforms.
• Attend guest garment alteration and repair requests per service standards.
• Ensure uniforms are fitted, neat, clean, and presentable before issue.
• Maintain records of uniform alterations, repairs, and issued items.
• Coordinate with Uniform Room Attendant and Laundry for smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of tailoring materials and equipment.
• Monitor sewing supplies and report shortages.
• Follow hotel policies and health and safety standards.
