Job summary

Accor is seeking a skilled Hotel Tailor in Dubai to support uniform alterations, linen repairs, and fabric maintenance across hotel operations. The role requires precise stitching, fittings, and timely completion of tailoring tasks with a focus on professional presentation.

You will operate industrial and domestic sewing machines, handle guest and employee garments, and manage tailoring materials while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of practical tailoring experience.
• Previous tailoring experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Skilled in garment stitching, alterations, adjustments, and repairs.
• Experience working with different fabric types and garment materials.
• Proficiency in operating industrial and domestic sewing machines.
• Good understanding of garment fitting and repair techniques.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities.
• Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Alter hotel employee uniforms: alterations, adjustments, and repairs.
• Maintain hotel linen, curtains, tablecloths, and fabric items; identify fabric damage and repair.
• Handle guest clothing alterations and repairs with care and professionalism.
• Operate industrial and domestic sewing machines to complete tailing assignments.
• Monitor availability of tailoring supplies; manage materials and minimize waste.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and maintain workplace organization.
