Qualifications

• Experience in hotel uniform room, housekeeping, laundry or linen operations is preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and recordkeeping.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Issue uniforms to new employees and existing colleagues according to department and position.
• Maintain accurate records of uniform issuance, returns, exchanges and replacements.
• Organize uniforms by department, employee name, position and size.
• Coordinate with laundry for cleaning and alterations as needed.
• Inspect uniforms for stains, damage, or defects and arrange repairs.
• Prepare uniform requisitions and maintain stock levels across sizes and departments.
• Keep the uniform room clean, organized, secure and hygienic at all times.
• Record daily, weekly and monthly uniform inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
