Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Uniform Administrator for a Dubai-based hotel. You will manage the uniform room, issue and collect uniforms, and coordinate laundry, alterations and stock control to meet hotel standards.

You will maintain accurate employee and stock records, prepare inventories, and work with HR, Laundry, Housekeeping, Purchasing and supervisors to fulfill uniform requirements.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures in a hospitality setting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural hotel team.

Responsibilities

• Issue uniforms to new and existing employees according to department and position.
• Maintain records of uniform issuance, returns, exchanges and replacements.
• Organize uniforms by department, employee name, position and size.
• Coordinate with laundry for cleaning of uniforms.
• Inspect uniforms for stains, damage, or defects and arrange repairs as needed.
• Maintain adequate stock of uniforms in all sizes and conduct regular inventory.
• Coordinate with HR regarding new joiners, transfers and separations.
• Prepare uniform requisitions and follow up on orders.
• Ensure uniforms are clean, pressed, labeled and ready for use.
