Job summary

The St. Regis Abu Dhabi is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on hotel systems across AC, electrical, plumbing and building controls.

You will inspect equipment, operate shut-offs, carry tools, and collaborate with shifts while following safety policies. A high school diploma and maintenance experience in hotels or similar facilities are preferred, with no supervisory requirement.

Qualifications

• General maintenance experience in hotels or buildings may be beneficial.
• Painting and surface prep capabilities are preferred.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and use Lockout/Tagout systems as required.
• Strong communication with guests and shifts to report issues.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate repair plans.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and building systems.
• Inspect and operate shutdown valves and utility shut-offs.
• Carry tools and equipment, and perform cleaning/stocking of supplies.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Program TVs and manage inventory related to maintenance tasks.
