Job summary

EDITION Hotels in Abu Dhabi seeks a Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on kitchen and building equipment. You will inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, operate shut-off valves, and maintain inventory while following safety policies.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and some experience in general maintenance or painting; hotel engineering experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment.
• Inspect and repair electrical, plumbing, and other systems as needed.
• Operate shut-off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and report safety hazards.
