Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Maintenance Technician to respond to guest repair requests, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the reliability of kitchen and building systems.

The role requires basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, plus the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on-site. Experience in hotel engineering is a plus, with no supervisory duties expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Hotel engineering or maintenance experience is a plus.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and hotel equipment.
• Inspect tools and equipment; maintain inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair guestroom items and building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
• Follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures; maintain cleanliness and professional appearance.
