Job summary

Aloft Hotels in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join the engineering and facilities team at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. You will respond to guest repair requests, communicate with guests to resolve issues, and perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. Some experience in general maintenance is preferred; no supervisory experience is required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Experience: Some maintenance experience is preferred.
• Industry: Hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus.
• Supervision: No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and building systems.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Identify and operate shut-off valves for equipment/buildings.
• Maintain inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards.
