Job summary

Rotana Hotels in Abu Dhabi seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the Housekeeping team, ensuring top cleanliness standards and guest comfort. You will assign daily tasks, monitor room readiness, and uphold brand service standards across guest rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities include inspections, staff training, and coordination with Engineering to keep facilities in peak condition, while responding promptly to guest requests in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or vocational training in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Computer literacy; Opera PMS knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute daily work assignments to Housekeeping Attendants.
• Issue keys and supplies to Housekeeping Attendants as per procedures.
• Monitor VIP, DND, Sleep Out, and Double Lock rooms and take appropriate action.
• Attend daily departmental briefings and relay instructions to the team.
• Verify cleanliness and readiness of checked-out rooms before marking them vacant.
• Respond promptly to guest requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect guest rooms and areas for cleanliness and adherence to standards.
• Identify and report maintenance issues to Engineering for action.
• Record and hand over lost and found items per procedures.
• Supervise cleaning of guest rooms, corridors, and other areas.
• Train and guide Housekeeping Attendants and report performance concerns.
