You will monitor room status, assignments, and special requests, coordinating guest needs and following up to closure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Housekeeping Coordinator / Desk Coordinator / Housekeeping Office role in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of hotel operations and housekeeping procedures.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Professional telephone and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse and multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and ensure effective communication with all relevant departments.
• Monitor and follow up on room status, room assignments, priorities, and special requests.
• Coordinate guest requests and ensure timely follow-up and closure.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, logs, and departmental documentation.
• Communicate room discrepancies and operational updates with Front Office and relevant departments.
• Coordinate with Engineering regarding maintenance issues and follow up until completion.
• Handle telephone calls, messages, and guest/colleague requests professionally and efficiently.
• Support Team Leaders and Housekeeping management with daily operational requirements.
• Ensure all requests and follow-ups are recorded and actioned within the required timeframe.
• Assist in maintaining departmental standards, procedures, and Andaz service expectations.
• Handle guest information and departmental communication with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Support the team during high occupancy, VIP arrivals, events, and other operationally demanding periods.
