Job summary

AccorHotels Middle East seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the engineering team in Dubai. You will handle electrical maintenance on shift, troubleshoot issues, perform preventive tasks, and respond to guest and facility requests with minimal disruption.

Responsibilities include fault finding on LV systems, inspecting panels and MCCs, reading drawings, and coordinating with other departments. English proficiency and hands-on experience in hotels or complex facilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience in luxury hotels, commercial buildings or similar complex facilities preferred.
• Shift-based engineering operation experience and handling guest maintenance requests preferred.
• Hands-on experience with LV electrical systems, controls, preventive maintenance and fault finding essential.
• Good spoken and written English mandatory.
• Clear communication with guests and hotel teams; proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Duty Engineer on shift activities, outstanding issues and work orders.
• Own electrical maintenance during shift, including troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to guest room and public area maintenance requests with minimal disruption.
• Fault finding and troubleshooting of LV electrical systems, motors, pumps and related equipment.
• Inspect and maintain electrical panels, DBs, MCCs, and emergency lighting.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Perform safe isolation and reinstatement per hotel procedures.
• Update maintenance records and work orders.
• Support low-voltage building systems and basic non-electrical tasks as needed.
• Attend emergencies and escalate specialist requirements promptly.
• Participate in safety drills and department trainings.
• Collaborate with Security, Housekeeping, Front Office and other departments.
