Al Zorah Beach Resort in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, invites applications for a Host/Receptionist role as we prepare for the grand opening of Four Seasons Resort Ajman at Al Zorah. This position focuses on creating a memorable first impression and guiding guests from arrival to departure with thoughtful service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hostess or front-of-house in luxury hospitality.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus.
• Professional appearance and enthusiastic hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills for reservations and guest flow.
• Familiarity with reservation systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.
• Manage restaurant reservations, seating arrangements and table availability to ensure a smooth flow of service.
• Escort guests to their tables and provide a thoughtful introduction to the dining experience.
• Recognise returning guests and maintain accurate records of preferences and special occasions.
• Respond to telephone enquiries, reservation requests and guest messages promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate closely with the service team to manage seating priorities, waiting times and special requests.
• Communicate guest preferences, dietary requirements and celebrations to the relevant team members.
• Handle guest enquiries and concerns with discretion, escalating matters when appropriate.
• Maintain a welcoming, organised and presentable reception area.
• Support the Food & Beverage team in delivering consistent luxury service standards.

• A professional appearance, polished manner and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage reservations and guest flow efficiently.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems or hotel operating systems is an advantage.
