Job summary

Al Zorah Beach Resort is seeking a Spa Therapist to join our luxury wellness team in Ajman, United Arab Emirates. You will deliver massage, facial and body treatments and tailor experiences to guest preferences, ensuring safety and comfort throughout every session.

The role requires 1–2 years in a 5-star spa, certification in massage or beauty therapy, and strong English communication. Join a resort on track toward Four Seasons Ajman opening, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of spa therapy experience in a luxury setting.
• Certification in Massage or Beauty Therapy.
• Proficiency in Swedish, deep tissue and aromatherapy massage.
• Experience with facials, body treatments or hammam a plus.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, safety and client consultations.
• Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide/LQA standards is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional massage, facial and body treatments in accordance with established spa protocols and service standards.
• Conduct guest consultations to understand individual needs, preferences and treatment considerations.
• Adapt treatments appropriately to ensure guest comfort, safety and satisfaction.
• Provide clear guidance on treatment benefits, aftercare and suitable wellness products.
• Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, equipment and supplies to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Follow established hygiene, sanitation and safety procedures throughout each treatment.
• Manage treatment preparation and turnaround times to ensure appointments run smoothly.
• Maintain accurate guest treatment records and communicate relevant preferences to the Spa team.
• Support spa retail sales through informed and personalised product recommendations.
• Participate in ongoing training, treatment development and wellness initiatives.
• Work closely with Spa Reception and fellow therapists to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Spa Therapist, preferably within a 5-star luxury hotel or resort spa.
• Recognised certification or diploma in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Swedish, deep tissue and aromatherapy massage techniques.
• Experience in facials, body treatments, Hammam rituals or hot stone massage is an advantage.
• Sound understanding of anatomy, treatment contraindications and safe massage practices.
• Experience conducting guest consultations and recommending suitable treatments.
• Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide and LQA service standards is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, professional presentation and a calm, welcoming manner.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
