Job description

Taaheed have partnered with an Abu Dhabi based investment fund to assist with the identification and recruitment of exceptional talent. Based in one of Abu Dhabi's most visually impressive properties, they need the very best people to manage and maintain the high standard's of hospitality expected. With this in mind, there is now the need to recruit a Hospitality Manager who will be responsible for the overall experience of any visitor to the property. Reporting to the Director of General Services, this role will be accountable for the ‘soft’ FM aspects of managing the property. The role will take the lead in ensuring user/guest/visitor satisfaction with the building’s facilities and taking personal accountability for its overall ‘look and feel’ as a prestige and high profile premises. This will include but not be restricted to aspects of the infrastructure such as catering, cleaning, gymnasium, surrounding grounds, office design‑lay‑out and auditorium. The role will consider and manage issues around user experience (to include V.I.P. visitors), space optimization, service delivery cost and quality, and so forth. This will entail co‑ordination of ‘business as usual’ building optimization as well as facilitating ad hoc events, visits, conferences, seminars etc.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will come from a hospitality background with at least the past 8 years spent working in a luxury five‑star hotel, the past five of which must have been spent in the UAE, allowing for a strong cultural understanding. The role would suit a hotel general manager or front‑of‑house manager who is looking to progress their career at the very top end of the hospitality industry.
