GEMS Education's Dubai American Academy invites applications for an outstanding High School IB Business Teacher to begin in January 2027. You will inspire curiosity and foster a passion for Business enquiry within a premier international school community.

The successful candidate will have IB Business teaching experience in an American or IB setting, and hold a Bachelor of Education or equivalent qualification. The role offers professional development and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent with teaching qualification in Business.
• Proven IB Business teaching experience at High School level.
• Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and practical Business instruction.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commit to continually improving teaching and learning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IB Business lessons to high school students following the curriculum.
• Develop and implement engaging teaching strategies for IB Business.

• Contribute to wider school life through enrichment opportunities and professional learning.
• Participate in parent–teacher conferences and communicate student progress.
