Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Key Account Manager, Hematology-Gulf, based in Dubai, to drive specialty care brand sales across the Gulf. You will engage healthcare professionals with scientific messages, develop regional strategies, and build key partnerships to ensure product availability and formulary access.

Requires pharmacy or medicine degree, 5+ years in pharma with hematology experience, and UAE market familiarity. Role is on-site in Dubai with regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Holds a Pharmacy or Medicine Degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company including specialty care brands experience.
• Hematology experience is strongly preferred.
• UAE market experience is a must. Other Gulf markets experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote Hematology brands through scientific messaging to health care professionals.
• Accountable for the sales of Hematology brands across Gulf markets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies & creative sales tactics to meet business goals.
• Define and prioritize customer targets by conducting profiling and segmentation.
• Ensure accountability for achieving results by identifying and managing customers within segments and executing tailored plans.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with pharmacists, hospital store managers, purchasing, finance and supply departments.
• Demonstrate deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise.
• Develop account business plans that meet market and customer needs.
• Support formulary enlisting process and scale up product penetration with cross-functional teams.
• Track and monitor performance and forecast orders; analyze data for growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve customer needs with urgency.
• Oversee ordering cycles for local purchasing and tenders; advise on price strategy.
• Gather market intelligence and mitigate risks related to pricing and competition.
• Liaise with local distributor to ensure stock availability and timely supply.
• Support pre-launch and launch activities as needed.
• Adhere to integrity and compliance with standards.
