SUNDUS MANAGEMENT CONSULTANCY & STUDIES BUREAU L.L.C is seeking a Cleaning/Facilities Support role in Abu Dhabi. The incumbent will perform general and specialized cleaning, maintain hygiene, report incidents, and follow management instructions to ensure safe, compliant premises.

The ideal candidate has basic education and experience in industrial cleaning, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and collaboration with internal and external parties.

Responsabilidades

• General and specialized cleaning of areas and ensuring readiness.
• 2. Reporting to Supervisor any incident or accident.
• 3. Reporting to Supervisor of the area or concerned any maintenance requirements.
• 4. Ensuring hygiene in the workplace and compliance with handling of materials/equipment.
• 5. Making recommendations to improve cleaning procedures.
• 6. Planning, estimating, and implementing jobs.
• 7. Ensuring records are maintained.
• 8. Implementing rules and regulations from higher management.
• 9. Allocating tasks and guiding staff; monitoring performance.
• 10. Liaising with internal and external parties for service delivery.
• 11. Ensuring work is completed on time, within cost, and quality standards.
• 12. Assisting in managing working site environment.
• 13. Ensuring safe use of plant and equipment.
• 14. Ensuring premises are safe and secure.
• 15. Assisting safety improvements such as 5S, painting, etc.

• Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Key Accountabilities)

  Cleaning and Associated Duties:

  • General and specialized cleaning of areas, ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of areas allocated for cleaning and ensuring their readiness.

  • Reporting to Supervisor any incident or accident.

  • Reporting to Supervisor of the area or concerned any maintenance requirements, such as light bulb replacements, leaking issues, maintenance issues, housekeeping issues, fire hazards, etc.

  • Ensuring hygiene in the workplace and, in this respect, ensuring compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials/equipment necessary for the performance of tasks.

  Operational Management:

  • Making recommendations which could involve setting and reviewing procedures or implementing alternative methods to approach cleaning with operational difficulties.

  Planning and Preparation:

  • Planning, estimating, and implementing jobs.

  Record Keeping:

  • Ensuring records are maintained.

  Procedures and Policies:

  • Implement the rules and regulations from higher management.

  Team working:

  • Allocating task to staff and providing appropriate guidance and instruction.

  • Setting and monitoring performance target.

  • Liaise with external and internal parties in relation to service delivery.

  • Ensure that work is completed as per time, cost, and quality required.

  Additional Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing working site environment.

  • Ensuring safe use of plant and equipment.

  • Ensure safe premises.

  • Assist on safety improvement modifications such as 5S implementation, painting, etc.

• Minimum Education Qualifications (Must Haves)

  Preferred professional training (Nice to have)

  • Primary School

  • 5S

• Professional Experience (Must Haves)

  Experience Recommended (Nice to have)

  • 3 years of experience, at least in the field of cleaning services of industrial facilities

  • Experience in operating cleaning functions

  • Working in Steel Industry

  • Aware and able to provide related training/ coaching

• Key Performance Indicators

  • Exercising initiative, flexibility, and judgment in coordinating activities, prioritizing work, and solving day to day problems; to ensure safe and secure working premises.

  • Ensuring that the standard policies, procedures, and guidelines are in place and adhered to it.

  • Optimum allocation of work to staff and providing appropriate guidance and instruction to keep ES premises safe and secure.
