Job summary

Crown Holdings, LLC in Dubai is seeking a Senior Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead all plant engineering and maintenance activities in a 24/7 can manufacturing environment. You will drive reliability, safety, and cost control while coordinating with production, QA, EHS and supply chain.

You will manage PM&R programs, oversee upgrades, spares, budgets, and external contractors, mentor teams, and champion continuous improvement aligned with corporate standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering.
• Minimum 8–10 years in engineering/maintenance in manufacturing.
• Minimum 3–5 years in managerial role.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Reliability Management
  • Lead preventive and corrective maintenance (PM&R) programs for all plant equipment
  • Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency
  • Analyze breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions

  • Maintain engineering standards, documentation, and equipment history
• Engineering Operations & Technical Support
  • Provide technical support to Production to resolve operational issues
  • Coordinate engineering activities with production and other departments
  • Maintain technical documentation, manuals, and equipment specifications
  • Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment
• Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Identify and implement improvements in equipment, processes, and maintenance practices
  • Drive efficiency improvement projects and reliability enhancements
  • Align with corporate standards and best practices (WCP initiatives)

  • Manage spare parts procurement, stock levels, and inventory optimization

  • Prepare and manage engineering and maintenance budgets (repairs, labor, utilities, CAPEX)
  • Monitor repair and maintenance costs against budget targets
  • Control contractor costs and technical service expenditures
  • Support capital investment planning and PAR processes

  • Plan and execute plant projects, upgrades, and annual shutdown activities
  • Manage external contractors and technical service providers
  • Ensure cost-effective and high-quality execution of engineering projects
