Job summary

Emirates Flight Catering in Dubai is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a multinational team and ensure adherence to cleaning specs, health and safety standards, and company policies across all areas.

You will design rosters, drive continuous improvements, monitor equipment and stock, and maintain accurate records while delivering high-quality services that meet budget and schedule targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality is required.
• Minimum 5 years in housekeeping with 2 years supervising.
• Intermediate level in food hygiene certificate preferred.
• Ability to supervise a multinational workforce and manage teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees to ensure adherence with cleaning specifications, occupational health standards and food safety standards while maintaining productivity and adherence to company policies.
• Prepare and manage staff rosters to ensure adequate manpower coverage for all assigned areas, supporting smooth and efficient operations.
• Deliver high-quality housekeeping services by implementing cost-effective management practices, driving continuous improvements, and process optimizations to meet business and financial objectives.
• Develop and evaluate staff performance through regular SOP training, performance reviews, on-job orientation, and probation management while addressing performance and conduct issues promptly, documenting incidents, maintain accurate employee records, and recognize achievements to foster a positive work culture.
• Engage with customers to investigate and resolve dissatisfaction, providing reassurance and implementing actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure full compliance with the company’s food safety and quality management system requirements to assist with the close out of any non-conformances with the required timeframe.
• Monitor and ensure proper use of equipment and chemicals while maintaining an updated standard equipment list and safe practices.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of cleaning tools, equipment, consumables, and EK items by verifying receipts, issuing details, and updating the ERP system accurately.
