Job summary

Accor seeks a Head Valet for Pullman Dubai JLT to lead a high-energy team delivering upscale arrivals and departures. You will manage operations, ensure vehicle safety, and act as a brand ambassador for Pullman’s premium standards.

You will coordinate shifts, monitor inventory and fees, and provide a warm, proactive guest experience while upholding our values and guest-centric philosophy.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in a valet or concierge supervisory role in a 4–5 star hotel.
• Valid UAE driving licenses (manual & automatic) with clean driving record.
• Fluent English; additional languages (Arabic, Russian or French) are a plus.
• Ability to stand long hours and work outdoors in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the valet team; ensure grooming and service protocols.
• Coordinate shifts, manage peak hours, and brief staff on VIP arrivals.
• Oversee entry traffic flow, parking, and vehicle retrieval with accuracy.
• Maintain parking logs, key security, and incident reporting; liaise with Security.
• Deliver warm guest greetings and handle complaints with diplomacy.

Job Description

As the Head Valet at Pullman Dubai JLT, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will lead a high-energy team to deliver seamless, upscale arrivals and departures. Your role combines operational precision, team leadership, and a "Heartist" approach to service, ensuring that every vehicle and every guest interaction reflects the premium standards of the Pullman brand.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management

Supervise and mentor the valet team, ensuring all staff adhere to grooming standards and service protocols.

Coordinate shift rotas and manage peak-hour deployment to minimize guest wait times.

Conduct daily briefings to communicate VIP arrivals, hotel events, and occupancy levels.

2. Operational Excellence

Oversee the efficient flow of traffic at the hotel main entrance, preventing congestion in the JLT cluster.

Ensure the safe handling, parking, and retrieval of guest vehicles.

Manage the valet parking log, key security systems, and damage inspection reports with 100% accuracy.

Collaborate with the Security team to maintain driveway safety and surveillance.

3. Guest Experience

Provide a warm, proactive welcome to all guests, anticipating their needs (luggage assistance, directions, or local recommendations).

Handle guest complaints or vehicle concerns with diplomacy, urgency, and a solution-oriented mindset.

Act as a brand ambassador, upholding Pullman’s "Our World is Your Playground" philosophy.

4. Administrative & Financial

Monitor valet equipment and supply inventory (key tags, uniforms, parking software).

Ensure all parking fees (if applicable) are processed correctly through the Front Office system.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a valet or concierge supervisory role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.

Driving Credentials: A valid UAE Manual & Automatic driving license is mandatory. An impeccable, accident‑free driving record is required.

Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Russian, or French) are a significant advantage.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with property management systems (like Opera) and valet tracking software.

Additional Information
