Job summary

Pullman Dubai JLT is seeking a Head Valet to lead our valet team, delivering seamless, upscale arrivals and departures while upholding the premium standards of the Pullman brand.

You will coordinate shifts, ensure vehicle safety, manage logs, and provide warm, proactive guest service, acting as a brand ambassador in a fast-paced 4-5 star environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of valet or concierge supervisory experience in 4–5 star hotels.
• Valid UAE manual and automatic driving licenses with a clean driving record.
• Fluent in English; Arabic, Russian, or French a plus.
• Able to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Familiar with property management systems (Opera) and valet tracking software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the valet team; manage grooming and service protocols.
• Coordinate shift rotas to meet peak-hour demand.
• Brief staff on VIP arrivals, events, and occupancy.
• Oversee traffic flow at hotel entrance; prevent congestion.
• Ensure safe handling, parking and retrieval of vehicles.
• Maintain valet log, keys, and damage inspection reports.
• Collaborate with Security to maintain driveway safety.
• Deliver warm guest welcomes and handle requests.
• Handle complaints with diplomacy and urgency.
• Act as Pullman brand ambassador and uphold standards.
• Monitor equipment and inventory; ensure parking fees processed through Front Office.

Job Description

As the Head Valet at Pullman Dubai JLT, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will lead a high-energy team to deliver seamless, upscale arrivals and departures. Your role combines operational precision, team leadership, and a \"Heartist\" approach to service, ensuring that every vehicle and every guest interaction reflects the premium standards of the Pullman brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management
  Supervise and mentor the valet team, ensuring all staff adhere to grooming standards and service protocols.


• Coordinate shift rotas and manage peak-hour deployment to minimize guest wait times.


• Conduct daily briefings to communicate VIP arrivals, hotel events, and occupancy levels.


• Operational Excellence
  Oversee the efficient flow of traffic at the hotel main entrance, preventing congestion in the JLT cluster.


• Ensure the safe handling, parking, and retrieval of guest vehicles.


• Manage the valet parking log, key security systems, and damage inspection reports with 100% accuracy.


• Collaborate with the Security team to maintain driveway safety and surveillance.


• Guest Experience
  Provide a warm, proactive welcome to all guests, anticipating their needs (luggage assistance, directions, or local recommendations).


• Handle guest complaints or vehicle concerns with diplomacy, urgency, and a solution-oriented mindset.


• Act as a brand ambassador, upholding Pullman's \"Our World is Your Playground\" philosophy.


• Administrative & Financial
  Monitor valet equipment and supply inventory (key tags, uniforms, parking software). Ensure all parking fees (if applicable) are processed correctly through the Front Office system.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a valet or concierge supervisory role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.


• Driving Credentials: A valid UAE Manual & Automatic driving license is mandatory. An impeccable, accident-free driving record is required.


• Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Russian, or French) are a significant advantage.


• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.


• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with property management systems (like Opera) and valet tracking software.


• Additional Information: Additional Language is an added advantage.
