Job summary

AccorHotels Middle East is seeking a Head Valet for Pullman Dubai JLT, responsible for leading a high-energy team delivering upscale arrivals and departures. The role combines operational precision, team leadership, and a guest-centric service approach to reflect premium standards.

You will oversee parking flow, vehicle handling, and safety, while maintaining brand ambassador duties and collaborating with Security.

Qualifications

• Experience in valet supervision in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
• Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Russian, or French) are advantageous.
• A valid UAE manual & automatic driving license with an impeccable driving record.
• Stand for long periods and work outdoors; able to operate in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the valet team; manage grooming standards and service protocols.
• Oversee traffic flow at hotel entrance; ensure safe handling and retrieval of vehicles.
• Coordinate shift rotas and brief VIP arrivals and events; monitor valet parking logs and security.
• Provide warm hospitality and resolve guest or vehicle concerns with diplomacy and urgency.

Job Description

As the Head Valet at Pullman Dubai JLT, you are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will lead a high-energy team to deliver seamless, upscale arrivals and departures. Your role combines operational precision, team leadership, and a "Heartist" approach to service, ensuring that every vehicle and every guest interaction reflects the premium standards of the Pullman brand.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management

1. Supervise and mentor the valet team, ensuring all staff adhere to grooming standards and service protocols.
2. Coordinate shift rotas and manage peak-hour deployment to minimize guest wait times.
3. Conduct daily briefings to communicate VIP arrivals, hotel events, and occupancy levels.

2. Operational Excellence

1. Oversee the efficient flow of traffic at the hotel main entrance, preventing congestion in the JLT cluster.
2. Ensure the safe handling, parking, and retrieval of guest vehicles.
3. Manage the valet parking log, key security systems, and damage inspection reports with 100% accuracy.
4. Collaborate with the Security team to maintain driveway safety and surveillance.

3. Guest Experience

1. Provide a warm, proactive welcome to all guests, anticipating their needs (luggage assistance, directions, or local recommendations).
2. Handle guest complaints or vehicle concerns with diplomacy, urgency, and a solution-oriented mindset.
3. Act as a brand ambassador, upholding Pullman’s "Our World is Your Playground" philosophy.

4. Administrative & Financial

1. Monitor valet equipment and supply inventory (key tags, uniforms, parking software).
2. Ensure all parking fees (if applicable) are processed correctly through the Front Office system.

Qualifications

1. Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a valet or concierge supervisory role within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment.
2. Driving Credentials: A valid UAE Manual & Automatic driving license is mandatory. An impeccable, accident-free driving record is required.
3. Communication: Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Russian, or French) are a significant advantage.
4. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
5. Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with property management systems (like Opera) and valet tracking software.
