Job summary

Foodpeople in United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and safeguard financial performance in an established venue. You will own service standards, team performance, and cost controls to deliver consistent, high quality experiences.

The role requires commanding leadership across front of house, kitchen, bar and supporting functions, plus staff development, scheduling, and KPI reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a comparable restaurant leadership position.
• Experience within upscale restaurants, premium casual dining, or similar hospitality environments.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations across front of house, kitchen coordination, bar operations, purchasing, inventory, and people management.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge with exposure to different cuisines and restaurant concepts.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, sales targets, costs, and operational performance.
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing and managing restaurant teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong English proficiency.
• Strong guest focus with the ability to maintain consistently high service standards.
• Good working knowledge of restaurant technology, POS systems, and operational reporting.
• Highly organised, detail oriented, and comfortable managing multiple operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all day to day restaurant operations.
• Ensure consistently high standards of service, food quality, and guest experience.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop the restaurant team.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, duty rosters, leave, and workforce planning.
• Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of agreed budgets and commercial targets.
• Monitor restaurant costs, stock levels, inventory, and operational expenditure.
• Maintain effective inventory controls and ensure accurate stock management.
• Oversee the restaurant management team and ensure clear accountability across daily operations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve operational or service issues effectively.
• Ensure smooth coordination between front of house, kitchen, bar, and supporting functions.
• Maintain restaurant equipment, facilities, and operational assets to the required standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement initiatives to improve operational performance.
• Prepare regular operational and performance reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and company operating standards.
• Support wider operational initiatives and business requirements as required.
