Job summary

Food People is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead day-to-day operations at an upscale venue in Dubai. You will own team performance, guest experience, and operational standards while driving commercial results and costs control.

You will develop a high-performing team, manage scheduling and staffing, and ensure high-quality service across FOH, kitchen, and bars. Strong English and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as Restaurant Manager or in a comparable restaurant leadership position.
• Experience within upscale restaurants, premium casual dining, or similar hospitality environments.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations across front of house, kitchen coordination, bar operations, purchasing, inventory, and people management.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge with exposure to different cuisines and restaurant concepts.
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, sales targets, costs, and operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and overlook all day to day restaurant operations.
• Ensure consistently high standards of service, food quality, and guest experience.
• Lead, motivate, train, and develop the restaurant team.
• Manage staffing levels, scheduling, duty rosters, leave, and workforce planning.
• Drive sales performance and ensure achievement of agreed budgets and commercial targets.
• Monitor restaurant costs, stock levels, inventory, and operational expenditure.
• Maintain effective inventory controls and ensure accurate stock management.
• Oversee the restaurant management team and ensure clear accountability across daily operations.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve operational or service issues effectively.
• Ensure smooth coordination between front of house, kitchen, bar, and supporting functions.
• Maintain restaurant equipment, facilities, and operational assets to the required standards.
• Monitor key performance indicators and implement initiatives to improve operational performance.
• Prepare regular operational and performance reports for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and company operating standards.
• Support wider operational initiatives and business requirements as required.
