Job summary

Apparel Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations across shifts, ensure food quality, hygiene, and exceptional guest service. You will lead front and back‑of‑house teams, control costs, and drive sales while maintaining brand standards and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years’ UAE/GCC restaurant management experience, a hospitality degree is a plus, and fluent English. Weekend/holiday work is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years as Restaurant Manager in UAE/GCC, casual or QSR dining preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Hospitality Management is a plus.
• Strong leadership, P&L, inventory, POS knowledge.
• HACCP Level 3, PIC certification, Basic Food Hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations to ensure smooth service during all shifts.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and customer service.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints promptly to ensure resolution and retention.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, HACCP, and brand SOPs.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate FOH and BOH teams of 15+ staff.
• Conduct regular briefings, performance reviews, and coaching to meet KPIs.
• Manage staff attendance, leave, and labor costs in line with budget.
• Foster a positive, high‑performance culture with low turnover.
• Drive sales growth and manage P&L, COGS, and controllable expenses.
• Monitor daily sales, inventory, and wastage; implement cost‑control measures.
• Prepare weekly/monthly reports on sales, labor, and stock variance.
• Execute local store marketing initiatives and upselling strategies.
• Ensure all licenses, permits, and staff certifications are current.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, POS reconciliation, and petty cash records.
• Coordinate with suppliers, facilities, and central teams for maintenance and procurement.
• Uphold brand standards, visual merchandising, and safety protocols.
