Job summary

ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank is seeking a Unit Head to lead Program & Project Management Governance for UAE Nationals. Location: Abu Dhabi. You will establish a robust governance framework, manage portfolio controls, reporting and stakeholder engagement across technology programs and projects.

The role focuses on governance maturity, workforce development of UAE Nationals and delivering value through disciplined project delivery and performance management.

Qualifications

• Experience leading PM governance and portfolio controls across technology programs.
• Ability to establish and maintain governance policies, stage gates and templates.
• Proven capability in reporting, KPIs and data quality for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance framework for technology programs and projects.
• Oversee portfolio controls, health checks and assurance activities.
• Own portfolio dashboards, status standards and data quality controls.
• Coordinate governance forums, minutes, agendas and action tracking.
• Develop UAE National talent and succession plans within PM governance.
• Monitor benefits realization and investment performance across the portfolio.
• Drive value-based prioritization aligned to ADIB strategic objectives.
• Ensure alignment with business cases, budgets and regulatory requirements.
• Champion governance best practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Audit and HR stakeholders.
