Job summary

Top Notch Consultancy represents a leading Insurance group in the UAE and seeks a Head of Motor Recovery for the Motor Claims Department in Abu Dhabi. The role reports to the Head of Motor Department and leads the recovery team to optimize recoveries and control costs.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years in motor insurance, strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to drive performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years in motor insurance.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of motor recovery processes and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Motor Recovery Department, overseeing staff, budgeting, and performance management.
• Develop and implement recovery strategies to maximize recoveries and minimize costs.
• Ensure timely handling of motor recovery claims and liaison with third-party recovery agents and solicitors.
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective management of motor recovery claims.
• Provide training and support to the motor claims team on recovery processes.
• Monitor recovery trends and provide analysis and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
