Job summary

The Director of Housekeeping at Kempinski Dubai leads the Housekeeping Department to uphold Kempinski standards of cleanliness, safety and guest comfort across all areas of the hotel. You will develop objectives, manage budgets, supervise staff, and coordinate contracts to ensure defect-free service.

Applicants should have strong leadership, operational knowledge of housekeeping equipment, experience with Opera PMS, and the ability to partner with other departments to deliver exemplary

Qualifications

• Leadership of a large housekeeping team
• Budgeting and cost-control responsibilities
• Coordination of supplier and service contracts
• Experience with maintaining high cleanliness standards
• Operational knowledge of housekeeping equipment and chemicals
• Proficiency with property management software (Opera PMS)

Responsibilities

• Lead the Housekeeping Department by setting objectives aligned with hotel goals.
• Monitor cleanliness across guest rooms, public areas, F&B outlets and back-of-house.
• Recruit, train, schedule and evaluate team performance.
• Manage linen, guest supplies and purchasing to meet quality standards.
• Prepare budgets and staffing guides and ensure department operates within budget.
• Coordinate and monitor contracts for plant rental, cleaning services, and decor.
